"I wouldn't be here/ If you hadn't been there," the country icon sings on the song dedicated to her partner of 60 years, who died this week at age 82.
"For them to be like, 'Hey, we've all been there,' it was very meaningful," Andress says during Viall Files podcast interview.
The song is expected to appear on his upcoming album, I'm the Problem.
The lineup also includes previously announced performers Jelly Roll, Eric Church and Garth Brooks.
"He is in God's arms now," the country superstar wrote.
The trio also played the "Name That Song Challenge" game on Wednesday night's (March 5) "Tonight Show."
"Sometimes it takes a little public humiliation to turn your life around," the singer said.
