Reports indicated that frontman Roger Daltrey was unhappy with Starkey’s performance at a recent Royal Albert Hall gig.
The Australian collective's 27th album will coincide with their appearance as part of the inaugural ‘Roo Residency at Bonnaroo.
“Recorded over the span of 3-days while on the Bright Future tour, we put friendship at the focal point making this a loving memento from one friend to another," says engineer Andrew Sarlo.

The co-headlining run will kick off in Biloxi, MS on Sept. 16.
The percussionist was in the group for two years and played on their beloved albums Stained Class and Killing Machine.
The North Shields artist revealed on an US radio show that he was once invited to perform with the legendary singer.
A 'Notice of Filming' for a project titled Weezer: Security Threat was also spotted in Los Angeles earlier this month.
It also opens at No. 1 on Top Rock Albums and Top Rock & Alternative Albums.
