The conference is set for Saturday, Aug. 17 at the West LA College campus in Culver City, Calif.
The Salt-N-Pepa legend's keynote was a highlight at the ninth annual State of Music in Media Conference in Hollywood.
Cheryl “Salt” James (Salt of Salt-N-Pepa) will keynote the event, sponsored by the Guild of Music Supervisors.
There will also be a panel on the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.
