Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo praised jurors for the partial acquittal and hinted that the rapper will appeal his prostitution conviction, telling reporters, “We are just getting started.”
The rapper will remain in custody until his sentencing hearing, where he faces a relatively short prison term after being acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering.
Sean Combs was found guilty of prostitution, but evaded the more serious charges.
