The band's lawyers say that any connection to the former president is "offensive" because they "vehemently oppose" his bid for another term.

The singer laughed when he heard how the three-time Republican presidential candidate referenced his 1972 hit, though he added that he hopes "kindness" wins out in November.
The musician performed on Bowie's “Space Oddity" and Reed's “Walk on the Wild Side."
The Songwriters Hall of Fame member was also behind hits like "Up Where We Belong" and "Tears in Heaven."
"I misjudged him," the singer wrote after receiving backlash.
"If somebody wants to do that and they're old enough to make that decision, hey, it doesn't affect my life," the country star said in a new interview.
"I feel like America needed a woman to come in here," the rapper tells Billboard of the 2024 election.
The pop star acknowledges that the collaboration “started a lot of conversations."
"at this point i need a parden [sic] from whoever wins," the rapper tweeted.
