"Our friends just egg him on," explained Lautner's wife, influencer Tay Lautner.
The track, originally performed by Rosemary Clooney, appeared in 1954's White Christmas.
"I am pro romance. Yay romance," the pop star and TV show host wrote on Instagram.
The new season of The Kelly Clarkson Show will premiere Oct. 16.
