Charli XCX to headline and curate own Party Girl festival at London’s LIDO 2025
Charli XCX will be headlining and curating her own day at London’s LIDO festival next year. Check out all the details below.
Taking place across June 2025, the new event takes place in London’s Victoria Park across two weekends, and will feature “carefully curated music line-ups alongside community-driven activities during the week, all with a strong emphasis on sustainability.”
Charli joins Jamie xx, who was previously announced as one of the inaugural headliners for the new festival’s upcoming first instalment.
Announced today (November 25), the ‘360’ singer will bring her Party Girl festival to LIDO on Saturday June 14. She’s already revealed the first names on the line-up, including Bladee, The Japanese House, The Dare, 070 Shake, Kelly Lee Owens and A. G. Cook. More are set to be announced in the coming months.
Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday (November 29) and you can get yours here. Find the full line-up on the poster below.
The new festival was first announced in October, along with confirmation that it will be run by AEG Presents, who also organise All Points East, BST Hyde Park and Forwards.
Representatives said they are looking to “showcase the most current headliners and work closely with them to curate the line-ups, reflecting their own musical passions, with a strong focus on emerging artists.”
Jamie xx’s previously announced line-up includes an appearance by his xx bandmate Romy, as well as Panda Bear, John Glacier, Arca, Sampha, DJ Gigola, Shy One, Wookie, and livwutang – he’s set to headline on June 7.
Meanwhile, Charli has been busy announcing live dates for 2025. Last week, she confirmed a US tour for 2025, after fans spotted various ‘Brat’-themed billboards cropping up in cities across the country. It follows her recent US-only ‘Sweat’ tour with Troye Sivan.
She’ll also play two outdoor shows in 2025 for fans in Belfast and Dublin, as well as Coachella and a headline set at Primavera Sound.
Fans also think she’s teasing a headline slot at next year’s Parklife Festival after another slew of ‘Brat’ green billboards recently appeared in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Birmingham, featuring the phrase ‘PL25’.
This week, she’ll kick off her UK arena tour alongside special guest Shygirl. The tour begins at Manchester’s Co-op Live on November 27, before Charli heads to London’s The O2 on November 28 and Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena on November 29. She’ll wrap up at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena on December 2. Visit here for any remaining tickets.
NME caught Charli and Sivan’s ‘Sweat’ tour and gave it a glowing five-star review. “As they wrap up the night with performances of their collaborations ‘1999’ and the ‘Talk Talk’ remix, it’s clear that they’ve both not just mastered their craft but are now getting the recognition they deserve. ‘Brat’ summer might be over, but these two are just getting started.”
