Confidence Man, Shygirl and more to join Barry Can’t Swim at All Points East 2025
Confidence Man and Shygirl are among the acts confirmed to be joining Barry Can’t Swim at next year’s All Points East Festival.
The Scottish electronic producer was announced as the second headliner for the East London event on Thursday (November 7), and will top the bill at Victoria Park on Friday August 22.
Now, a full list of acts for that day’s festivities has been shared, with Brisbane electro pop act Confidence Man set to bring their disco and rave energy to the bill. Just last month, they released their third studio album ‘3AM (La La La)’, which NME gave four stars and said was “their most assured collection yet” which proved “they definitely have the tunes to match their outsized personas”.

Also joining the bill is the Mercury-nominated dance singer and producer Shygirl, who recently appeared on Charli XCX’s remix album ‘Brat And It’s Completely Different But Also Still Brat’ and is also set to join the singer on a tour of the UK later this month.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am GMT next Tuesday (November 12) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, a pre-sale will take place on the All Points East website at 10am GMT on Monday (November 11).
“Been dying to share this one,” Barry Can’t Swim said of his appearance. “Next year I’m gonna be headlining All Points East for my only London show in 2025. Can’t wait x.”
Also announced for the day are German DJ and producer Marlon Hoffstadt, Berlin trance duo DJ Heartstring, the Brit-nominated Bolton garage producer Interplanetary Criminal, Austrian producer True Vision, Dua Lipa collaborator Chloe Caillet, house DJ Leon Vynehall, Melbourne vocalist Pretty Girl and German/Polish producer Atrip.
Last month, it was confirmed that The Maccabees would be reuniting to headline All Points East 2025. The band’s first show in eight years will feature support from the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club and The Cribs.
The Maccabees hadn’t performed together, or even all been in the same room, since their last show at London’s Alexandra Palace in 2017.
Felix White, who performs in 86TVs alongside brother Hugo, explained: “In the intervening years we’ve been to All Points East a lot, separately. It’s become a bit of a landmark festival for us, always checking who’s on the line-up.
“I’d go and have a great time throughout the day, but there was always this pinch of regret watching headliners that we could’ve done it ourselves one day too. I thought that moment had passed, and it was something I was prepared to come to terms with that I was always going to miss.”
He added: “I think we’re all kind of shocked and excited that we get to do it together again.”
Further announcements for next summer’s All Points East are expected in the coming weeks and months.
