‘Daredevil’ fans “hyped” for reboot series as new teaser drops

The first teaser trailer for Daredevil: Born Again has dropped – you can watch it below.

The reboot series from Marvel sees Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, respectively.

In the new teaser, the two characters meet after some time has passed. Murdock is still practicing law and the Kingpin is now running for mayor of New York.

The clip also gives us our first look at Jon Bernthal returning as the Punisher, Muse and Mohan Kapur coming back as Yusuf Khan. You can view it below.

Daredevil: Born Again is due to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025.

It’s got many fans excited in the comments section, with one writing: “AHHHHHHHHHH IM SO FUCKING EXCITED.”

Another added: “I’m hyped. Loved the series and didn’t know they are working on a movie. I’ll watch!”

The original Daredevil series aired on Netflix and came to an end in 2018 after three seasons.

The reboot was first announced in May 2022. A creative overhaul eventually followed, with the studio parting ways with the show’s writers and directors last year because it “wasn’t working”.

The official synopsis for Daredevil: Born Again (via Variety) reads: “Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”

Murdock previously made a cameo in a scene in 2021’s Spider-Man No Way Home and the 2022 Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.
