Dinah Jane & Ally Brooke Are Loving Fifth Harmony Renaissance, Say ‘We’ll See’ About Reunion at Billboard Women in Music 2024

Former Fifth Harmony members Dinah Jane and Ally Brooke were on the carpet and ready to talk at Wednesday night’s (March 6) Billboard Women in Music 2024 event, with both women offering a tantalizing tease about a potential return by the “Worth It” group. Asked if the X Factor-created quintet — which also featured Lauren Jauregui, Normani and Camila Cabello — might be poised for a reunion after their 2018 split, Brooke was cagey, saying “we’ll see… we’re not sure.”

Meanwhile, Jane said, “I love that our fans can reminisce on such good times and I love that we’re getting the credit again. Our music was very impactful at the time and I feel like it was kind of overlooked, to be honest. So now that it’s reviving again on its own it just shows our music speaks for itself.” She also shouted out TikToker Noah Miller, who has been credit with kicking off the Harmonisance and helping their 2016 single “All In My Head (Flex)” debut at No. 45 on this week’s TikTok Billboard Top 50.

Jane also gave herself props for getting up the courage to “stand up and do it again” with her reggae-tinged 2023 single “Ya Ya.” The singer said she was happy to be part of the celebration of women at Wednesday’s event, while giving her fans a shout-out too for sticking with her as they patiently await the follow-up to her 2019 debut solo EP Dinah Jane 1. “The craft is being perfected,” said the singer who released a duet on “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” with Brooke last holiday season.

Jane also talked about her focus on highlighting her Polynesian roots, explaining that “coming from a small island I’ve always wanted to represent to my best ability… just thinking of my own people and being able to represent them on a platform such as this,” she said, getting emotional. “I hope that every Polynesian girl can also dream big and want to make it to events such as this and create, create, create!”

Watch the women talk a possible 5H reunion above. Fans can stream the Billboard Women in Music 2024 at 8 p.m. ET here tonight (March 7).
