Diplo’s Run Club Expanding to Six New Cities

Diplo is taking off on foot across the country, with the announcement that Diplo’s Run Club will happen in six U.S. cities in 2025 and 2026.

Featuring a 5k run and what’s being categorized as a “mini music festival” headlined by the namesake producer, Diplo’s Run Club will take place in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Miami and Phoenix. The first Run Club happens in Philadelphia in July. See the dates and locations for each event below.

The news follows the debut of Diplo’s Run Club last year, with upward of 20,000 people taking part in Run Clubs in Seattle and San Francisco. (And yes, Diplo has — and will! — run each race.) The San Francisco installment was among the top 10 largest 5k races in the United States in 2024.

“Getting Diplo’s Run Club started last year was some of the most fun I’ve had in a long time,” the producer says in a statement. “Bringing so many people together to run and celebrate is really all I ever want to do. Stoked to bring you guys a bunch more this year with a ton of friends from around the world.” 

A press release also notes that “Diplo originally came up with the idea for this event series after he ran the Miami half marathon and then found himself at the club with other runners craving a post-workout celebration.”

Diplo’s Run Club is presented in partnership with Mascot Sports and Wasserman. Tickets for the all-ages events go on sale March 14. $1 from each ticket will go to supporting local nonprofits in each city.
