While a firm release date has yet to be revealed, it has been confirmed that Doom: The Dark Ages will arrive sometime in 2025. Apart from release on Xbox Series X|S and PC, the game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the first day of its release, and on PS5.
Doom Eternal released in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and was critically acclaimed, with Rick Lane writing for NME: “If you only played Doom Eternal once and dismissed it, I urge you to give it a second try, and pay a little more attention what it’s trying to teach you. Listen well enough to his monosyllabic grunts, you’ll be dancing through a rain of demon blood in no time.”
