Drake Is Giving Away Free Hot Chicken Sliders For His 37th Birthday
Drake is celebrating his 37th birthday with a red hot giveaway. The For All the Dogs MC has teamed up with Dave’s Hot Chicken for a worldwide stunt in which the chain will give every fan a free hot chicken slider or tender in Drizzy’s honor.
“🚨BIG NEWS🚨We’re collaborating with @champagnepapi to celebrate his birthday… AGAIN 🥳 AND giving EVERYBODY a SLIDER on US‼️,” read a post from the chain. Fans in the U.S. can download the Dave’s app or stop by any location on Drake’s born day — Tuesday (Oct. 24) — and scan the app at the register to get their complimentary clucker. “Happy birthday and more life and chicken for our fam @champagnepapi 🐥.”
The offer is good for one day only while supplies last.
Dave’s co-founder Arman Oganesyan told Eater L.A. in 2021 that Drake had signed on as a “major investor” in the L.A.-based chain that started out as an East Hollywood pop-up in 2017, though he did not say at the time how big the investment was. “He has a large stake,” said Oganesyan at the time. “As far as investors go, he has a very good stake.”
On the Billboard chart dated Oct. 21 all 23 songs from Drake’s For All the Dogs album landed in the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100, led by the J. Cole collaboration “First Person Shooter” taking over the No. 1 spot. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 402,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening week, according to Luminate, making it the fourth-biggest week of the year, after the first frames for Taylor Swift’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) (716,000 units), Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at at Time (501,000) and Travis Scott’s Utopia (496,000).
