Drake Warms Up for Australian Tour Running Through His Hits at Karaoke: Watch
Drake is gearing up to take the stage in Australia for his Anita Max Wynn Tour kicking off next week. Before things get going, the 6 God took advantage of his trip down under by warming up his vocals with a karaoke session on Friday (Jan. 31).
Drizzy posted the clips to his Instagram featuring him on stage sitting atop a barstool in front of a closely gathered group of cheering women inside the intimate Melbourne venue.
Among the karaoke carousel found Drake performing Certified Lover Boy‘s “Pipe Down,” Views‘ “Faithful,” “Rich Baby Daddy” and deep cut “Trust Issues.”
The first show for the Anita Max Wynn Tour is set for Perth on Feb. 4, then Drake will head to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and wrap up in New Zealand.
It appears Drake could be mixing up his setlist for the Aussie fans compared to his It’s All A Blur Tour run from 2023.
There could also be a new project on the way as Drake and PartyNextDoor have continued to tease their $$$ joint project.
“Love to all the 6’ers,” Drake captioned a photo of the CN Tower on Jan. 26. “Winter months are the toughest. S–t can be depressing so take care of yourselves and try show love to each other. Be back in a flash. $$$OON.”
PND hinted that the project was near completion in November “Guys, I have one more show on this tour,” he told his followers. “Then the album is getting finished. That’s all I gotta say.”
