Elizabeth Olsen remembers being “starstruck” meeting George Clooney
Elizabeth Olsen has said that the first person who left her “starstruck” upon meeting them was George Clooney.
The actress recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to share her “Hollywood firsts”, which included the first time she found herself starstruck.
“[He] wouldn’t remember me and that’s fine, but it was at the Toronto Film Festival and someone introduced us. It was a very brief moment. I’m a big fan of his. [He’s] a pretty high up there person and I think [of all] the people to meet who’s really nice and generous with others.”

Olsen is currently appearing in the Netflix film His Three Daughters, which tells the story of three sisters (Olsen, Natasha Lyonne and Carrie Coon) who return to their father’s Lower East Side apartment during his last days of hospice care.
In other news, Clooney recently praised Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris in the race for the next President of the United States.
While on the red carpet for the LA premiere of his upcoming film Wolfs, Clooney backed Swift’s choice, calling it “beautiful”, while talking to the Associated Press. “What a beautiful thing to do,” he continued. “She’s a real phenomenon right now and it’s exciting to see all these young people really engaged in the national discourse. I think it’s exciting, and I’m very excited to see her engaged.”
Clooney endorsed Harris back in July, telling CNN: “President Biden has shown what true leadership is. He’s saving democracy once again. We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic quest.”
