Enter Shikari have unveiled a St Albans FC away strip after renewing their sponsorship deal with the club for the upcoming season.

The shirts, according to a press release, are “manufactured by Hummel using their ECO8 technology (meaning each shirt is constructed from high-performing polyester produced from up to eight recycled plastic bottles)” and will be released in early August ahead of the new season.

The band have also announced a collaborative Enter Shikari x SACFC merch capsule range – featuring a t-shirt, hoodie and a cropped t-shirt – designed by Spearhead, to support the club.

You view the strip and capsule range below and pre-order them from 5pm BST today (July 18) here.

The band first sponsored the St Albans FC home shirt in 2020. They also went on to sponsor the National League South side charity shirt that same season to raise funds for food banks across the UK.

Enter Shikari are due to hit the road for a UK headline tour which kicks off in November. You can find remaining tickets for the dates here.

Speaking about the tour at Download Festival 2024, frontman Rou Reynolds recently told NME: “I’m refraining from calling them intimate shows, but they are more intimate than the arena shows that we just did.

“In terms of what to expect, I don’t know yet. We haven’t even started thinking about it, but it’s on the to-do list while we get through festival season. They’re going to be a bit more straight and narrow this time. Back to these sweatier, vibe-ier venues. We’re really looking forward to it because we’re getting to play some cities that we haven’t been to in ages, and some new ones that we haven’t visited before. I can’t wait.”

They have also announced a series of US dates which kick off at Dallas South Side Music Hall on October 9 before wrapping up at Los Angeles Belasco exactly a month later. You can purchase tickets for those shows here.

Meanwhile, Reynolds also recently said that “a change of government will definitely help” in saving grassroots venues.

Last year, in a bid to protect the sector, Enter Shikari made one of the biggest pushes to help support grassroots music spaces so far – introducing a £1 ticket levy to their arena shows, which was then donated to the MVT.

They were one of the leading artists to prove how larger venues could help support its smaller counterparts at no extra cost to fans. Other artists have since followed suit (including CKY and Alien Ant Farm, who confirmed earlier this year that they would be introducing the same levy) and a nationwide scheme of arenas and stadiums paying back into the grassroots has been recommended by MPs.
