‘Fallout: London’ players complain of frequent crashes
A number of Fallout: London players are complaining about frequent crashes with the mod.
First announced in 2020, Fallout: London is a player-made, full conversion mod for Fallout 4. It had been due to launch in April but after Bethesda surprise released the next gen update for the base game, Fallout: London was pushed back to July.
Ahead of its release, Team FOLON teamed up with GOG for another round of quality assurance tests before the game was given the green light on July 26.
As it stands, players still need a downgraded version of Fallout 4 to play London due to another update from Bethesda threatening to cause issues with the mod. It means players who own the base game via the Epic Games Store are still waiting for the launch of Fallout: London, while console players won’t be able to play the mod at all.
Despite these restrictions, a number of players are still complaining about frequent crashes with Fallout: London. The official subreddit has a dedicated thread for developers to try and solve a number of issues with installation, while social media is full of frustrated players who still can’t access the mod.

I uninstalled and RE INSTALLED three times by your instructions. Still crashed constantly and progressivly worse each crash ( and by worse I mean sooner…until finally the game would crash as it launched.)

Following the wave of issues, Team FOLON released a statement across social media. “We’re working hard to fix the reported technical issues and expect to release an update soon. Thank you for your patience.” They also shared an in-depth installation guide to help solve any issues with the mod. A week after that post though, Team Folon has yet to release a fix though it’s worth noting the mod has been created by a team of volunteers.

However, those that have been able to play the mod have praised Fallout: London. “I can’t express how good Fallout: London is,” wrote one fan with another saying “the deeper you get into Fallout: London, the better it gets.”
It comes as a player-made mod for the player-made mod caused a ruckus between English and American gamers, by renaming every mention of “football” to “soccer”.
In other news, Activision has confirmed 65,000 accounts have been banned from Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone for cheating.
