Feid Announces Joint Album With Yandel: Here’s What We Know
Feid has revealed that his upcoming musical project is a joint album with Yandel, marking their first collaborative album together.
The Colombian artist shared the news on his Instagram account Tuesday (April 2), alongside a set of photos that showed him and the Puerto Rican star at a carwash. “We can change your oil, mami, and wash your car,” he captioned the post that also included some throwback pics with Yandel.
“Ferxxo and Yandel or Yandel and Ferxxo, on April 11 we have a new album,” he continued. “We had a great time doing this project!! A lot of childhood dreams are in it. Manifesting that it comes out already.”
On his account, Yandel promised that the forthcoming album will be “the best music you’ll hear all of 2024.”
Feid and Yandel previously collaborated on “Yandel 150,” part of the latter’s Resistencia album, which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts in April last year, and earned Yandel his first Billboard Hot 100 chart entry. The song—which later had a remix with Daddy Yankee—was also nominated at the 2023 Latin Grammys for best urban song and best urban fusion/performance.
The pair also has a track on Feid’s 2022 album, Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos el Álbum, called “XQ Te Pones Así.”
The Feid and Yandel album will join a handful of joint sets that urban acts have previously released including J Balvin and Bad Bunny’s Oasis, Ozuna and Anuel AA’s Los Dioses, Farina and Arcangel’s FloWres, and most recently, Ovy on the Drums and Myke Towers’ Cassette 01.
