Five things to know about Bose Ultra Open Earbuds
In partnership with Bose
The future of listening is here. Earlier this year, Bose released their Ultra Open Earbuds, offering stunning audio quality while allowing the user to still hear the world around them. The earbuds’ design ensures that stability is no issue either – you can run, jump and dance freely while listening to your favourite new artists, podcasts or audiobooks. The product hooks gently around the ear, offering a private listening experience while remaining comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. There’s also the option to customise volume, treble and bass levels – as well as targeted surround sound and immersion technology – in the integrated Bose app, so you can set up a system to suit you. Here are a few other things you need to know about the latest in a series of innovative releases from Bose.
Groundbreaking design allows for all-day wear
The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds can be kept on throughout the day thanks to the power of long-lasting battery life. That’s seven hours’ battery time (or up to 4.5 hours in Immersive Audio mode and a whopping 48 hours of standby). Find yourself running low while you’re on the
move? The included charging case provides up to an extra 9.5 hours of juice. Their light-as-air grip means that the Ultra Opens can be worn comfortably when not in use, and are readily available at a moment’s notice, meaning users no longer have to choose between being immersed in the moment or engaging in what’s happening around them. A strong, continuous Bluetooth connection is available within nine metres of your chosen device, and the product is compatible with other Bose products, such as soundbars.
Comfort is key
Listen to music while active, on the go or at home – the choice is yours. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds’ cuff-like fi t was designed with long periods of usage in mind, to save users from having to scramble around in order to turn the product off and on. You’ll simply forget you’re even wearing them. The product’s flexible and durable rubber joint can stay put during bike rides, long jogs or gym sessions, while small button controls make it super-easy to switch between stereo and immersive modes among other shortcut options. The charging case is also water-resistant.
Complete openness to your surroundings
Have you ever found noise cancellation overwhelming when navigating busy crowds or public transport? Then check out the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, which offer the user total command over their listening experience, in that they can still engage in conversation or hear their
surroundings. The open-ear design provides rich, private moments of listening to maximise entertainment enjoyment. Listeners can also move their head while experiencing the effect movement has on sound, or pause with a single click.
The benefits of OpenAudio technology
The earbuds’ open-ear design says, “I can still hear you while OpenAudio technology provides you with high-quality sounds. When that’s combined with the portability and comfort of Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, users can hear specifi c instruments, voices, and other sounds coming from all directions, wherever they choose to go. There is a bonus Auto Volume feature, too, which keeps the music audible even as the volume of your surroundings changes – which is perfect for a particularly noisy commute.
Enjoy a premium sleek product aesthetic
Beyond taking your day-to-day music consumption to a new level, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds look slick and glamorous. The lightweight earbud sits at a 45-degree angle, but music can still be played and heard while making adjustments to where it sits in your ear. Any minor discomforts can be easily alleviated. They can be used for voice calls too, as the small earbuds leak little sound. The Bose app, meanwhile, has an Auto Volume setting that can automatically adjust the volume to different environments.
