Foo Fighters to Take ‘SNL’ Stage as Musical Guest Alongside Host Nate Bargatze
The 49th season of Saturday Night Live is heating up, and the iconic sketch comedy show announced that Nate Bargatze will make his hosting debut on Oct. 28, alongside musical guests Foo Fighters.
The performance will mark Foo Fighters’ ninth time taking the SNL stage, and are fresh off the release of their 11th album, But Here We Are. The album crowned Top Alternative Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums upon its release in June, while the LP’s lead single “Rescued” commands Hot Hard Rock Songs.
The week prior, on Oct. 21, Bad Bunny will pull double duty as host and musical guest. Bad Bunny made his first appearance on SNL in April 2020 with a cameo during a pandemic-era Saturday Night Live At Home episode. He made his debut as a musical guest in February 2021 (and acted in a couple of sketches) alongside Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page as the host. The Oct. 21 episode will mark Bad Bunny’s first time hosting.
Saturday Night Live airs on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. For those without cable, the broadcast streams on Peacock, which you can sign up for at the link here. Having a Peacock account also gives fans access to previous SNL episodes as well.
