The news comes shortly after Beyoncé appeared at Harris’ Houston rally on October 25. Speaking at the rally, Beyoncé said: “I’m not here as a celebrity; I’m not here as a politician; I’m here as a mother. A mother who cares—deeply—about the world my children and all of our children live in. A world where we have the freedom to control our bodies. A world where we’re not divided: our past, our present, our future merge to meet us here.”

“Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what’s possible with no ceilings, no limitations. Imagine our grandmothers, imagine what they feel right now. those who have lived to see this historic day. Even those who are no longer physically with us – imagine all of their sacrifice, the sacrifices made so we can witness the strength of a woman standing in her power, reimagining what leadership is.”

In a four-star review of Abrams’ ‘The Secret of Us’, Hannah Mylrea wrote for NME: “It’s a moment of pure pop catharsis that leans into the good, bad and messy of infatuation. This is the joy of ‘The Secret of Us’: it doesn’t shy away from the complex or contradictory. Here Gracie Abrams embraces her growing pains and celebrates enduring the difficult moments. She’s never sounded better.”
