Grupo Frontera’s ‘Ángel’ With Romeo Santos & More: Which Is Your Favorite New Latin Music Release This Week? Vote!

This week, Billboard’s New Music Latin roundup and playlist — curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — features fresh new music from artists such as Grupo Frontera, Fuerza Regida, Elsa y Elmar, Monsieur Periné and more.

Mexican-American ensemble Grupo Frontera has teamed up with Romeo Santos for “Ángel,” a sweet bachata track produced by Santos, Edgar Barrera and Casta. The mainly bachata song also incorporates Frontera’s signature norteño accordion for this innovative bachata-regional mashup.

Meanwhile, Elsa y Elmar unleashed “Ké MaL,” the fourth single from her upcoming album PALACIO.  “When I was a little girl, my dad used to tell me something that his dad said, and I never quite understood it,” the Colombian artist said about the pop song in a statement. “Until recently, and when I got it, I wrote this song. But this is not a love song or a breakup song. This is a ‘it is what it is’ kind of song. Sometimes in life and in love, things just don’t line up and that’s ‘Ké MaL’.”
