Guns N’ Roses Postpone Concert in St. Louis ‘Due to Illness’
Guns N’ Roses postponed their concert at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Saturday (Sept. 9) following an unspecified illness.
“Gunners, the concert scheduled for St. Louis on September 9 has been postponed due to illness,” GNR wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Friday. “Hang on to your tickets – fans who are unable to make the rescheduled date will be eligible for a refund.”
The post didn’t specify which member was ill, but 61-year-old frontman Axl Rose recently struggled with vocal issues during the group’s concert in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on Sept. 1.
“My apologies I was a little horse .. Fun night, Great Crowd!! Great Venue!! N’ great to be back!! Again my apologies and thank you!!” the singer wrote on X after the show.
GNR’s next concert is scheduled for Tuesday (Sept. 12) at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn. From there, the band has North American stadium and festival dates booked through mid-October.
Last month, the hard-touring Rock and Roll Hall of Famers dropped new single “Perhaps.” The piano-driven track follows 2021 songs “Absurd (aka Silkworms)” and “Hard Skool,” which are both reportedly from the 2008 Chinese Democracy album era.
