Here’s every song on the ‘Adolescence’ soundtrack
Stephen Graham reunites with Boiling Point director Philip Barantini for British drama Adolescence.
Written by Jack Thorne (Toxic Town) and Graham, the Netflix series follows 13-year-old boy Jamie Miller who is arrested for the murder of a classmate. Like Boiling Point, every episode is filmed in one continuous shot.
Other cast members in the series include Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, Owen Cooper, Faye Marsay, Christine Tremarco, Mark Stanley and Jo Hartley.
All four episodes in the miniseries were released on March 13, 2025.
Who composed the soundtrack to Adolescence?
Aaron May and David Ridley composed the show’s score, who have collaborated on various projects with director Philip Barantini in the past, like Boiling Point, Villain and Malpractice.
You can stream the full soundtrack from Adolescence below.
What other songs feature in the show?
The series uses music sparingly but there are a couple of notable needle drops.
A cover of Sting’s ‘Fragile’ composed by Aaron May and David Ridley is heard in the closing moments of the second episode.
In the final episode, A-ha track ‘Take On Me’ is featured during the car ride, while ‘Through The Eyes Of A Child’ by Aurora is played during the closing sequence.
In a four-star review, NME described the series as “essential viewing”, adding: “It’s unflinching commitment to the darkest corners of the story will remain with you long after the credits have rolled. These four episodes alone won’t stop the encroachment of the so-called ‘manosphere’ on regular boys’ lives but it has the power to start some much-needed conversations.”
