Charli XCX and Troye Sivan kicked off their ‘Sweat’ US Arena tour last night. Check out the full setlist below.

The duo’s joint tour began last night (September 14) with a show at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Sivan opened the show with ‘Got Me Started’, from his 2023 album ‘Something To Give Each Other‘, before launching into ‘What’s the time where you are?’ and ‘My My My’.

The pair alternated their time on stage, appearing together for ‘Club Classics’, ‘1999’ and their recently-released ‘Talk talk’ collaborative remix.

Charli XCX’s set mostly drew from her recent album and pop-culture phenomenonBrat‘, sailing through hits like ‘Apple’, ‘Girl, so confusing remix‘ and ‘Sympathy is a knife’. However, she did make space for a handful of older fan favourites, including ‘I love it’ and ‘Vroom vroom’.

Elsewhere, there was a surprise appearance from opening support act Shygirl, who joined Charli to perform ‘365’.

The duo gave fans a taste of the tour earlier this year when Charli joined Sivan on stage at his Wembley Stadium gig in June to perform their collaboration ‘1999’.

Then, earlier this week, they shared a collaborative remix of ‘Talk Talk’, which sees the track reimagined with vocals by Sivan, and contributions from Dua Lipa, who speaks Spanish and French throughout. The new version was the final song to be played at the opening night of the ‘Sweat’ tour last night.

In a four-star review of ‘Brat’NME wrote earlier this month: “On the self-described “club record”, XCX offers pure party girl hedonism. Percolating beats, brash synths, left-field production and vocal lines that flit between bratty quips or honest one-liners.”

“With ‘Brat’, XCX demonstrates that going her own way will always sound pretty good,” it added.

In a glowing five-star review of Sivan’s ‘Something To Give Each Other’, NME wrote: “Above all, it’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”

In other news, Charli announced a new version of ‘Brat’ earlier this week, presumed to be a remix album set for release on October 11. Based on the pre-save page, it looks like the project contains 16 songs, of which five are previously released remixes of songs from the original tracklist.
