Here’s the Date of the 2024 Daytime Emmys
Kelly Clarkson has about three months to rearrange her trophy case to make way for more possible awards. The 2024 Daytime Emmys will be presented on Friday, June 7, from the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.
Clarkson has amassed seven Daytime Emmys in the past four years. At last year’s ceremony, she won both outstanding daytime talk series host and outstanding daytime talk series for The Kelly Clarkson Show. By comparison, Clarkson has won three Grammys in a recording career that stretches back to 2002.
Clarkson has not attended the Daytime Emmys in recent years, though she was present at this year’s Grammys, where she was nominated for best pop vocal album for Chemistry.
The Daytime Emmys, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), will be broadcast live on Friday, June 7 (8–10 p.m. ET/delayed PT) on CBS, and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. This year marks the 18th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmys, more than any other network.
“We eagerly anticipate our return in June as we once again partner with CBS to recognize the exceptional and talented individuals who make daytime television great,” Adam Sharp, president and CEO of NATAS, said in a statement.
The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievements in television programming and crafts since 1974. In 2021, NATAS and the Television Academy jointly announced plans to realign the Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards to be organized by content genre, as opposed to program airtime.
The 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards is produced by NATAS and Associated Television International (ATI). Adam Sharp and Lisa Armstrong are executive producers from NATAS, while David McKenzie is executive producer from ATI.
