Here’s when you can play ‘Fortnite’s’ next season, Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Start Time: Two characters can be seen

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 begins shortly. Titled Lawless, it sees a band of thugs come together to engage in heists on the map and make quick escapes, all while trying to stay alive. There are a host of new villain/criminal-themed skins to unlock too. But when does Chapter 6 Season 2 start?

Thankfully we know the exact time, as Epic Games is pretty consistent with their updates and when new seasons release.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless will release on February 21, 2024, at 1 AM PT, 4 AM ET, 8 AM GMT, 9 AM CST. The game’s new season could be slightly delayed depending on how long it takes for Epic to get everything ready and the servers steady. Chapter 6 Season 1 will shut down one hour before this, and it usually takes at least one hour for the next season to launch.

We have seen several seasons recently get pushed back by a few hours due to issues, so it isn’t unprecedented. Until then, we have a first look at what to expect from the season, including some of the new skins like Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat.

The gameplay trailer also shows rail grinding, which appears to be an extension of the parkour systems that were added with Chapter 6 Season 1. You can view it below:

Keep in mind that LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival have different schedules, and there are still a few weeks left in those seasons. Additionally, Fortnite OG’s next season is still several months away, as the latest season only launched last month.

While you wait to check out Lawless, why not catch up on the latest news on the game, including Epic Games announcing that they have banned a pro player after they cheated, forcing them to apologise publicly and pay back their winnings?
