The accompanying music video for ‘Q&A’ follows HyunA on a tropical getaway with her lover, as they splash around in a pool and ride a motorbike through the streets at night. “Tell me right now / Ask me right now / So I can know how you feel / Come closer / Secretly sending a sign / I wanna know,” she sings on the chorus.
‘Q&A’ is the lead single of HyunA’s new mini-album ‘Attitude’, which also includes the songs ‘Ah!’ and ‘RSVP’ featuring rappers GEMINI and Changmo, respectively. The new mini-album is HyunA’s first release under AT AREA which she signed to in 2023. Her last release was her July 2022 mini-album ‘Nabillera’.
HyunA made her debut in 2007 as a member of Wonder Girls, but left the group later that year due to health concerns. She later debuted under CUBE Entertainment with 4Minute, and remained with the act until their disbandment in 2016. During this time, the singer also released several solo projects.
Earlier this year, HyunA lost over 200,000 Instagram followers after announcing her controversial relationship with Yong Jun-hyung, the former HIGHLIGHT member who had been involved in the 2019 Burning Sun scandal.
In other K-pop news, South Korean internet giant Kakao has received a conditional approval from the country’s antitrust regulator to acquire a controlling stake in K-pop agency SM Entertainment.
Meanwhile, ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin had allegedly “demanded” for HYBE to give her the authority to terminate NewJeans‘ contracts, according to a new media report. However, the music executive claims that her “request” stemmed from wanting to “ensure independent management of the label”.
