Imagine Dragons announce support act and extra 2025 London show due to phenomenal demand

Imagine Dragons perform live in 2024.

Imagine Dragons have announced the support act for their upcoming UK shows, as well as announcing another London date. Find out more below.

Details of the tour were initially shared earlier this week (September 9), when the Las Vegas band confirmed that they would be heading over to the UK and Europe next year for a series of shows.

The dates all come as an extension of their ongoing ‘Loom’ tour dates across North America, and will follow on from their previously announced shows in Asia. It’ll also be their first ever full stadium tour and will make stops in 16 countries throughout summer 2025, including Estonia, Czechia, Italy, Spain, France, Netherlands, France, the UK and more.

Now, with tickets going on sale earlier today (September 13), phenomenal demand from fans has meant that frontman Dan Reynolds and co. have added another London show to the schedule.

The new date will be held on July 25 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – the day before the already announced slot at the venue on July 26.

It has also been announced that Declan McKenna will be joining the band as a special guest for both shows in the UK capital.

The two London shows mark the end of the UK and European run, which kicks off with an opening night at the Stadion Letzigrund in Zurich on May 31, before continuing into June with shows in Estonia (3), Sweden (5), the Czech Republic (9), and Hungary (14).

From there, shows are planned for Italy, Portugal and Spain, before heading into July, where the band will take to the stage in France, Belgium, Germany and more.

The tour dates all come in celebration of the band’s latest album, ‘Loom’, which arrived earlier this summer and marked their sixth studio LP.

On the album, the band joined forces with Swedish hitmakers and longtime band collaborators Mattman and Robin to create a record that both pays homage to the sound that put them on the map, as well as mark where they are now.

Last month, longtime drummer Daniel Platzman announced his departure from the band.

He joined the line-up in 2011, but recently took to social media to announce that he was leaving. “After an incredible journey of over a decade, I will be departing the amazing band that is Imagine Dragons,” he wrote. “I wanted to share my deepest gratitude to you, the fans, for your unwavering support and sharing in the joy of music with me.”

In a three-star review of Imagine Dragons’ performance at Reading Festival 2023, NME wrote: “This is by no means a groundbreaking set from Imagine Dragons; for the most part, the performance follows the same structure as all the other shows on their ongoing ‘Mercury’ tour. That being said, that seemed to matter not one jot during a show that was designed solely to serve their fans: mission accomplished.”
