‘Industry’ season three is finally on UK TV – and fans are obsessed
Industry season three finally reached UK TV yesterday (October 1) and many fans are hailing it as one of the “best dramas in years”.
The HBO and BBC’s investment bank drama follows the lives of a group of bankers working in the London office of the fictional company Pierpoint & Co, focusing on a group of recent graduates as well as their mentors.
The third season of the drama series was officially commissioned in October 2022, just weeks after the premiere of season two.
Season three has already aired in the US and it was highly praised by fans. Now, viewers in the UK have given their verdict with one writing: “Great to see ‘Industry’ back on BBC for a new season. One of their best dramas in years.”

#IndustryHBO #bbc #drama #tv Great to see the brilliant drama Industry back for a 3rd series. It's one of the best dramas in recent years. The BBC has gone down hill in recent years but it shows teaming up with HBO can generative a realistic unsanitized drama. 10.40 tuesday's pic.twitter.com/TTJ2Q47gcR

#IndustryHBO is on BBC One tonight, it is THE BEST season of TV this year. Part greenwashing satire, part British class drama, part financial drama. The Christmas episode in the middle is absolutely incredible too, It’s like a London Uncut Gems.
Christ, what a show.

Just like series one and two, series three of #Industry is superb.
Probably the most "edgy" show on TV (BBC).
The acting (across the whole cast) is incredible – The characters are soo believable.
Best thing on TV that nobody has seen – #IndustryHBO

Another added: “It is THE BEST season of TV this year. Part greenwashing satire, part British class drama, part financial drama.”
One fan went on: “This season is phenomenal. Everything has been elevated. The entire cast are a joy to watch. The writing, the direction, the edting is beautiful, not a single episode is wasted. Full of love, intensity and bravery, congratulations to all involved.”
A fourth season of the hit show was confirmed by HBO earlier this month.
“For three seasons, Industry has been unflinching in its examination of ambition and class, solidifying itself as a marquee HBO drama,” said Francesca Orsi, executive vice president of HBO Programming and head of HBO drama series and films.
“Under [series creators] Mickey [Down] and Konrad [Kay’s] singular vision, this twisted, thrilling look at London finance has redefined the contemporary workplace show. We’re so excited that viewers and critics have recognised season three as bigger and better than ever, buoyed by sublime performances from our unparalleled cast. We have no doubt that Mickey and Konrad, alongside the amazing team under executive producer Jane Tranter at Bad Wolf and executive producer Kathleen McCaffrey, will take season four to even greater heights.”
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington also joined the cast of the third season of Industry this year. Harington took on the role of the British aristocrat Lord Henry Muck, described by a press release as “the embodiment of ‘old money’ privilege”.
In a review of the first season of the show, NME said: ”It makes the world of banking look deeply unappealing, but makes it very fun to watch others suffer through it.”
