Is ‘The Duskbloods’ coming to PS5, Xbox, and PC?

The Duskbloods PS5 Xbox PC: A character can be seen

FromSoftware is on a roll with another new game in 2026. The Duskbloods is a unique PvPvE take on their classic third-person action combat. But it was announced at the Switch 2 Direct, so does that mean it is releasing elsewhere?

Unfortunately, it isn’t good news if you don’t plan on getting Switch 2.

The Duskbloods is only releasing on Nintendo Switch 2. It is being published by Nintendo which means it won’t be coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox, or PC. This was confirmed in the reveal trailer for the game.

It is unlikely that the game will ever release on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC too, as many other third-party developed games published by Nintendo haven’t come to other platforms. These include Bayonetta 3, Astral Chain, Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club, Shin Megami Tensei V (base edition), and more.

Therefore, we could see this be FromSoftware‘s first game since Bloodborne that you can’t play on multiple platforms. The developer may have some sway in being able to publish it elsewhere. For example, it may have control over the IP, and if another publisher comes along, it could come to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC after the exclusivity window.

However, Nintendo is pretty precious about its console exclusives, and The Duskbloods is likely to stay exclusive to Nintendo’s new hardware. Thankfully, this appears to be a one-off, but with Miyazaki directing this, it looks like PlayStation, Xbox, and PC gamers will have to wait for a few years before we get FromSoftware’s next big RPG. Although Elden Ring: Nightreign is releasing in May, that is more of a multiplayer spinoff than a flagship FromSoftware title.

The Duskbloods is one of many Nintendo Switch 2 games. Check out the full lineup of Nintendo Switch 2 launch and launch window games here.
