Korean-American singer and rapper Jay Park has unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming album ‘The One You Wanted’, which will feature collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Chung Ha and more.

Earlier today (September 26), Jay Park shared the 20-song tracklist for his upcoming record, titled ‘The One You Wanted’, which drops on October 8. While the musician has already released some of the listed tracks over the past two years, it also includes several new collaborations.

Among them are upcoming singles ‘Mayday’ featuring American rapper Ty Dolla $ign and ‘Gimme A Minute’ featuring K-pop singer Chung Ha, who is also signed to Park’s label More Vision. A third single, ‘Piece of Heaven’ will feature Isol, a trainee from the label’s upcoming girl group.

Other new collaborations include ‘Ohx3’ with Korean rapper DUT2, ‘Sip On A Lil Sum’’ featuring NingNing of aespa and ‘100 Days’ featuring American rappers YG and P-Lo. Park and NingNing previously collaborated on the song ‘WYA’ for the Chinese music competition series The Next, on which he was a judge and mentor.

Past singles like ‘Ganadara’ featuring IU, ‘Candy’ featuring Zion.T and ‘Taxi Blurr’ featuring KISS OF LIFE’s Natty and more will also be included on ‘The One You Wanted’. The record will be Jay Park’s sixth studio album overall and his first in over five years, since 2019’s ‘The Road Less Traveled’.

Earlier this month, Jay Park appeared on MBC’s Radio Star and spoke about “taking back” comments he previously made about retiring as a performer. “As I play a significant role in the new company I started, I’ve put off retiring for the time being,” he said, sharing that he is putting together both a boyband and girl group under More Vision.

Elsewhere in K-pop, KISS OF LIFE have announced their return next month with their third mini-album ‘Lose Yourself’. The record will arrive just two weeks before the group are due to kick off their first world tour ‘Kiss Road’ in Seoul.
