Jay Wheeler is getting ready to reveal a merch drop with Billboard and TalkShopLive.
The Puerto Rican artist will be showcasing his latest merch in support of his new album Música Buena Para Días Malos and last year’s TRAPPii. Wheeler will be in conversation Billboard Español‘s associate editor Isabela Raygoza on Friday (May 17) at 1:30 p.m. PT / 4:30 p.m. ET.
The new merch items include TRAPPii-themed trucker hats, socks, stickers, ski mask-adorned t-shirts, and a JW.FM vintage black and cream-colored hoodie and sweatpants combo.
During the TalkShopLive interview, the Latin music sensation will also be discussing his upcoming U.S. TRAPPii tour, as well as his seventh studio album Música Buena Para Días Malos (via Dynamic Records), which he dropped last month. On the new project, Wheeler explores themes of time, destiny and alternate realities.
Produced with the help of long-time collaborators Kevin Omar Ortiz (Bones) and Elvin Jesus Roubert Rodriguez (Botlock), the 14-track Música Buena delves into personal exploration and guides listeners on an emotional odyssey.
“I feel that [Musica Buena] is the best album I’ve made in my entire career, because it demonstrates not only my musical growth, but my personal growth as well,” Jay Wheeler said in a press release. “It’s been a long time since music has been made in a way that you can feel it in the depths of your heart.”
Catch Jay Wheeler on TalkShopLive on Friday at 1:30 p.m. PT / 4:30 p.m. ET. The livestream will simulcast across Billboard and Jay Wheeler’s FaceBook account.
