Jeff Lynne’s ELO adds Birmingham and Manchester dates to 2025 UK ‘Goodbye’ tour
Jeff Lynne’s ELO have extended their UK ‘Goodbye Tour’, adding new UK dates for 2025.
The announcement comes just days after the band shared details of what would be their last tour – confirming a farewell show at London’s BST Hyde Park for next summer.
Now, Lynne and co. have extended the run of shows, confirming two more dates as part of the ‘Over And Out’ final UK tour.
The first of the two new dates will be a homecoming show – held on July 5 and taking place at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham. The second will be held at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on July 9.
Both come ahead of the aforementioned show at BST Hyde Park, which takes place in the capital on July 13.
Tickets for the two new ‘Over And Out’ UK shows go on sale this Friday (November 1) at 10am GMT. Pre-sale options are also available, beginning on Wednesday (October 30) at the same time. Visit here for tickets and find a full list of dates below.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO ‘Over And Out’ UK tour dates are:
JULY
5 – Utilita Arena, Birmingham
9 – Co-op Live, Manchester
13 – BST Hyde Park, London
The band’s upcoming headline show in London marks their first slot at the outdoor music series in over a decade. They last took to the stage at Hyde Park in 2014, and that gig marked their first festival performance in 30 years.
“My return to touring began at Hyde Park in 2014. It seems like the perfect place to do our final show,” explained Lynne. “We couldn’t be more excited to share this special night in London with our UK fans. As the song goes, ‘We’re gonna do it One More Time!’”
Jim King, CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents, added: “Jeff Lynne’s ELO are loved the world over. The live shows are nothing short of extraordinary and a testament to the incredible catalogue of hits we’ve enjoyed for over 50 years. Hosting their final performance at BST Hyde Park is a true honour. We’re excited to be part of this special moment in music history.”
The group will be joined by a host of special guest opening acts at their “historic final show”, which will be confirmed in the coming months.
The announcement marked the first headliner announcement for BST Hyde Park 2025, and organisers have promised “more incredible announcements soon”.
BST Hyde Park 2024 saw Stevie Nicks, Kylie Minogue, Stray Kids, SZA, Kings Of Leon, Morgan Wallen, Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams and Shania Twain take to the stage.
As for ELO, Lynne was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame last year, while ELO were inducted back in 2017. Earlier this year, longtime ELO keyboardist Richard Tandy died at the age of 76.
