Jimmie Allen Confirms He Had Twins With Another Woman in Midst of Divorce From Ex Alexis Gale
Jimmie Allen confirmed this week that he had twins with an unnamed woman in the midst of his divorce from ex-wife Alexis Gale. The 38-year-old “Best Shot” singer posted a series of Instagram Stories on Tuesday (March 19) according to E! News, in which he paid tribute to his children, Aadyn, 9 (from a previous relationship), as well as Naomi, 4, Zara, 2 and Cohen, 5 months, with Gale and 9-month-old twins Amari and Aria.
In a caption, Allen also pre-empted criticism about his family tree, writing, “I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs.”
Estranged wife Gale appeared to respond to the post a short time later on her private Instagram — though she didn’t name Allen — writing in a Story, “I’m just going to say, those lies will always catch up to you. What is done in the dark will come out in the light every single time. So keep playing.” Gale added, “I am truly at the point in my life where I am just letting God work and not saying s–t anymore. People tell on themselves, they show you who they are, they always expose themselves. You don’t have to do a single thing, ever. Something always comes out and it just happens naturally.”
Allen and Gale married in 2021 after two years of dating and in April 2023 Gale shared a message that announced both her pregnancy and the couple’s separation. “After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate,” they wrote. “As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.”
A month later, Allen issued a public apology to Alexis, saying he was sorry for “humiliating her with my affair. I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame to her. That’s something that she did not deserve at all.” The apology was followed in July with the birth of twins with the unnamed woman, according to People. Allen and Alexis’ son, Cohen, was born in September and a spokesperson for the singer told people in October that the couple had reconciled and “decided to work on things together and are still together.”
