Jonas Brothers Jam With Dad on Eagles’ ‘Desperado’ at Nashville Gig

The Jonas Brothers are all about family, and on Monday night (Oct. 9) at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on their Five Albums. One Night tour they proved it again by inviting dad Kevin Jonas Sr. on stage to sing the 1973 Eagles classic “Desperado.”

Nick Jonas did the honors, introducing the family patriarch by telling the crowd that he was, “somebody who literally had at least 50 percent to do with us being here tonight,” as seen in a fan TikTok video of the special moment. Dear old dad then took center stage and the boys let him take the lead vocal on the country rock ballad, showing off his powerful pipes, which clearly run in the family.

Joe Jonas eventually joined in on vocals while brother Kevin strummed his guitar as their pops wowed the capacity crowd. The brothers brought out Kevin Sr. for the same Eagles track back in November during a show in Las Vegas, where Nick noted that it’s the same song their dad sang at Nick’s 2018 wedding to Priyanka Chopra.

The brothers kicked off the career-spanning 94-show Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour outing in August at Yankee Stadium with a setlist that featured every song from each of their four studio albums — 2007’s Jonas Brothers, 2008’s A Little Bit Longer, 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times and 2019’s Happiness Begins — as well as some songs from 2023’s The Album. They also hit standalone singles including “What a Man Gotta Do” and “Leave Before You Love Me,” as well as solo tracks such as Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” and Joe Jonas’ (by way of DNCE) “Cake by the Ocean.”
