JTBC and Netflix have released a new trailer for the K-drama Miss Night and Day starring Apink singer Jung Eun-ji and Choi Jin-hyuk. Read on to find out all you need to know about the plot, cast and premiere date of the series.

What is the plot of the K-drama Miss Night and Day?

The upcoming K-drama revolves around Lee Mi-jin, a woman in her twenties who struggles to find a steady job. One day, she wakes up in the morning only to have aged into her fifties. Mi-jin soon learns that she only makes the transformation in the day, and returns to her young self at night.

Using the name Im Soon in the day, she manages to land a job as a senior intern at the district prosecutors office under prosecutor Kye Ji-woong. Despite her appearance, she is a capable intern who earns the respect of her coworkers. However, Kye Ji-woong winds up getting involved with both of her identities by day and night, making it increasingly difficult to keep her secret.

Who is in the cast of Miss Night and Day?

Best known as a member of Apink, singer-actress Jung Eun-ji leads Miss Night and Day as the young version of Lee Mi-jin. It will be her first leading K-drama role since 2022’s Blind. Meanwhile, Lee Jung-eun plays her older self, who goes by the name of Im Soon.

Starring opposite them is Choi Jin-hyuk (Numbers, Mr. Queen) as prosecutor Kye Ji-woong. Also starring in the K-drama series are Yoon Byung-hee and Baek So-ho.

Is there a trailer for the K-drama?

Netflix released the official trailer for Miss Night and Day on June 3. The clip opens with a young Mi-jin venting about her unique situation, struggling to find work and baffled by what is happening with her body. She later lands a job at the prosecutors’ office, and her older self leaves her colleagues in awe as she quickly becomes their most capable intern.

However, chaos ensues as the line between her double lives begins to blur. Later, Kye Ji-woong confronts the younger version of Mi-jin on a bridge and, sensing that she is hiding something, says: “I’ll wait until you are able to tell me.”

Miss Night and Day premieres on JBTC and Netflix on June 15.
