Katy Perry has shared a deluxe edition of her recent album ‘143’, including four new songs. Listen in full below.

The pop star released the original version of her seventh studio record in September, featuring the singles ‘Woman’s World’ and ‘Lifetimes’.

Today (December 20), Perry took to social media to announce the arrival of the 15-track ‘1432’. “I WOKE UP and wanted to give my KatyCats an early holiday gift,” she wrote.

“To everyone who HAS A HEART, I wish you NO MORE TEARS FOR NEW YEAR’S. I’m always gonna be around no matter if you’re up or down. 1432 is here OK!”

The singer’s message incorporated the titles of the additional, previously-unreleased songs ‘OK’, ‘I Woke Up’, ‘Has A Heart’ and the seasonal ‘No More Tears For New Year’s’.

Album closer ‘OK’ is a breezy, electric guitar-led pop number, where Perry assures a partner as she optimistically looks to a bright future.

Hey, it’s gonna be OK/ I’m always gonna be around/ No matter if you’re up or down/ Hey, what did I say? I’m never gonna let you drown/ No matter if you’re up or down,” she sings in the chorus.

You can hear ‘1432’ in its entirety below via Spotify, or through your preferred streaming platform here.

In a two-star review of ‘143’, NME described the standard edition of the album as “a serviceable but slightly dull collection on which Perry struggles to relocate her old sense of fun”.

Next autumn will see Perry embark on a UK arena tour, which includes two shows at The O2 in London (October 13, 14). She’ll be donating £1 from every ticket to the Music Venue Trust. Find any remaining tickets here.

The star’s relationship to the UK’s grassroots scene stems from her first performances in the country in 2008, when she played small gigs across the capital. On her decision to support the MVT, she said: “I’m proud to donate £1 from every ticket on the UK leg of ‘The Lifetimes Tour’ to Music Venue Trust so that venues like Water Rats and Scala, where I played my first UK shows, can continue to usher in the next generation of music talent.”

Meanwhile, Perry recently played a one-off intimate show in London for a TV special titled Night Of A Lifetime. It is scheduled to air on ITV1 at 6:30pm GMT tomorrow (December 21).

She also headlined Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2024 at The O2 earlier this month, along with Coldplay.
