Kehlani Dances Throughout a Wild ‘After Hours’ Vegas Hang in New Music Video
When Kehlani asks you to stay “After Hours,” especially in their new music video that dropped Monday (May 6), it’s best you say yes.
The Amber Park-directed clip starts off at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where Kehlani and her crew pull up for a round of drinks before embarking on their night out. Of course, she shows off the viral TikTok choreography (courtesy of Darius Hickman, who is also featured in the music video and was one of the dancers from Beyoncé‘s Renaissance World Tour) and even transforms a luggage cart as her stage while wearing a bedazzled hundred-dollar bill corset dress.
“The party is over/ You wanna come with me/ My home never closes/ Just want you to feel free,” they sing in the refrain before leaving the wet-and-wild pool party at LIV Beach and heading to the hotel room afterparty that no one would want to miss.
“After Hours,” which samples Cordel “Scatta” Burrell’s “Coolie Dance Rhythm,” has reached No. 21 on Rhythmic Airplay and No. 47 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (charts dated May 4).
Kehlani will be headed back to Vegas at the end of the month to kick off three performances at LIV Nightclub Las Vegas (located in Fontainebleau) on May 31, July 21 and Aug. 2. “Vegas it’s so very up, the baelani way,” she wrote underneath their Instagram announcement last week.
