Kneecap announce massive Dublin 3Arena gig to cap off 2025
Kneecap have announced plans for a huge arena concert in Dublin to cap off 2025.
The Northern Irish hip-hop trio will perform at Dublin 3Arena on December 17. Tickets go on sale at 10am next Friday (January 31) and can be purchased here. Before that a pre-sale will be held from 10am next Wednesday (January 29), which you can sign up to here.
As well as the upcoming arena show in Dublin, the band are also performing at the city’s Fairview Park on June 19. Buy tickets here.
Kneecap are also gearing up for some other huge live shows across 2025 including slots opening for Fontaines D.C. at both their show in London’s Finsbury Park in July, and their Manchester show at Wythenshawe Park in August.
It comes after the film Kneecap was officially left out of the 2025 Oscar nominations yesterday.
The semi-autobiographical comedy-drama had been tipped as a contender in both the Best International Feature Film and Best Original Song categories, but it was shut out of both.
The band, comprising of Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí, shared their reaction to being snubbed on social media, posting “Fuck the Oscars. Free Palestine.” on X and Instagram.
Kneecap scored a five-star review from NME, which said: “Unapologetically ballsy and brave, Kneecap has no business being as good as it is – not only one of the standout films of 2024, but arguably one of the best music biopics of all time. So, with much thought and time to percolate, here’s your full analysis: Holy shit, fuck me, what a film.”
The film recently picked up seven wins at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA), including a joint lead accolade for its stars.
The band released their debut album ‘Fine Art‘ in June last year, which NME awarded five stars and said: “In the dark of the night out, the moment is all that matters and the rave will set you free. To shout that in a ‘dying’ language on a record that couldn’t sound any more alive? That’s power – and Kneecap have it.”
Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller also watched their recent show at the O2 Kentish Town Forum in London.
Reviewing that show, NME also gave the band five stars adding: “As The Forum audience give every ounce of energy they have left for the closing ‘Get Your Brits Out’ and ‘H.O.O.D.’, all the work this band have put in pays off. Kneecap don’t need a list to tell them, you or anyone else this – but they’ve already won.”
Gallagher previously declared his love for the trio after their feral late night Glastonbury set while the band also joined Weller for a recent Palestinian aid charity gig.
