Lady Gaga Hops on the ‘Zombieboy’ Dance Trend
Lady Gaga is joining her Little Monsters on a new dance trend inspired by her recently released album, MAYHEM.
The superstar took to TikTok this week to share a 12-second video featuring the chorus from a track off the project, “Zombieboy.” In the clip, she convulses her body to the beat, before stretching her arms out in a zombie-like way, swaying back and forth to the viral choreography. “I could be your type from your zombie bite/ We about to be up all night, wakin’ up a zombie/ So put your paws all over me, you zombieboy,” she sings in the chorus.
“I HAD TO DO IT CUZ I SAW YOU DOING IT #MAYHEM in the STAIRWELL,” she captioned the post alongside three zombie emojis.
Gaga’s MAYHEM debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart dated March 22, marking her seventh leader. The project earned 219,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending March 13, according to Luminate — the biggest week of the year for an album by a woman. It’s also Gaga’s largest streaming week of her career.
”Zombieboy” is also among the 10 songs from MAYHEM that made their way onto the latest Billboard Hot 100, debuting at No. 85.
On Monday night (March 17), Gaga was honored with the Innovator Award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards. “To every artist that’s ever been told they’re different, complicated or too much, please never change. Break the mold. The world doesn’t need another copy. It desperately needs your original,” she told the crowd during her moving speech.
