Lauryn Hill and The Fugees add more dates to 2024 UK and European ‘Miseducation Anniversary’ tour
Lauryn Hill and The Fugees have announced extra dates for their ‘Miseducation Anniversary’ tour of the UK and Europe this autumn – read on for all the details.
Last month, the initial tour was announced, including two shows in the UK, with one in Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena and the other at The O2 in London.
It is set to kick off in Tampa on August 9, taking in a total of 18 US shows, before heading across the Atlantic for the Manchester show on October 12, and London two days later. It was then set to wrap with shows in Paris and Amsterdam on October 18 and 22 respectively.
Now, the European leg has been extended “due to fan demand”, with extra dates in Dublin’s 3Arena on October 7, Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on October 9, and additional shows in Cologne, Paris, Antwerp, Stockholm, Berlin and Hamburg.
Tickets for the new UK and Ireland shows go on pre-sale on Wednesday (July 31) and general sale on Friday (August 2) at 10am local time, and you can get yours here.
The shows will see Hill perform tracks from her classic 1998 debut solo album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’, and she will also team up with the Fugees for songs from their beloved 1996 album ‘The Score’.

This tour comes after a run of dates of shows dedicated to ‘Miseducation’ were cancelled last November, when the artist cited a “serious vocal strain for the past month”.
She has since returned to performing with a handful of shows across February, March and April of this year including a slot at Coachella.
In January 2022, the Fugees cancelled their planned tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of the ‘The Score’. In a statement made to social media, they wrote: “The continued Covid pandemic has made touring conditions difficult, and we want to make sure we keep our fans and ourselves healthy and safe.”
In April 2022, Fugees member Pras Michel was convicted for his involvement in a billion-dollar money laundering scheme on 10 federal counts. Michel’s legal issues would later be found to be a major reason for the cancellation of the Fugees’ anniversary tour.
