Lenny Kravitz to headline UEFA Champions League final show in London

It has been announced that Lenny Kravitz will be headlining the UEFA Champions League final show in London.

The four-time Grammy Award winner is set to perform as a headliner as part of the Pepsi Kick Off Show at the Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid on June 1 at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Speaking of the upcoming performance in a press release, Kravitz said: “I’m really looking forward to my performance for the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi in London, a city which holds a special place in my heart. It’s going to be such an exciting event ahead of a final that means so much to so many. We can’t wait to show you all what we have in store.”

In other news, Kravitz is one of the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame nominees, alongside the likes of  Sinead O’ConnorCherSadeMary J. BligeJane’s Addiction and A Tribe Called Quest and more.

The rock star also recently released ‘Blue Electric Light’, his first album since 2018’s ‘Raise Vibration’, and was released through his own label, Roxie Records, with distribution by BMG.

It marked the 59-year-old’s first double album and 12th studio effort overall, made up of 12 tracks that he recorded in his studio in the Bahamas. Kravitz wrote and played most of the material himself, alongside the guitarist and longtime Kravitz collaborator Craig Ross.
