Lil Pump hits out at Kamala Harris and endorses Donald Trump again
Lil Pump has publicly shared his support for Donald Trump once again and hit out at Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
Harris recently became the Democratic candidate in this year’s presidential race after the current US president Joe Biden stepped out. Now, she will go head-to-head with Trump to see who will be the next POTUS this November.
In a recent tweet, the ‘Gucci Gang’ star shared a photo of him and Trump to show his support for the business titan and Republican nominee. He also shared why he thinks the current Vice President of the US isn’t the best candidate.
First, he falsely claimed that “Kamala Harris isn’t even black… she’s Indian” – information that has been labelled by journalism nonprofit The Poynter Institute as “wrong or missing context”.
Kamala Harris isn’t even black… she’s Indian. She locked up over 1,500 people for weed related crimes and then laughed about it years later. The worst VP in American History.

Then he went on to claim say that Harris “locked up over 1,500 people for weed-related crimes and then laughed about it years later”, adding: “The worst VP in American History.” As District Attorney of San Francisco, Harris presided over more than 1,900 marijuana convictions. However, most defendants never served time behind bars.
Additionally, Harris has not publicly laughed about the weed-related cases. Pump was most likely referring to a time when she appeared on the radio show The Breakfast Club and laughed when asked if she had smoked marijuana.
In a video with Shane Ginsberg, Pump doubled down on his claims about Harris’ race and the weed-related arrests.
While sporting a red hat that displayed Trump’s contentious 2016 presidential slogan, “Make America Great Again”, he continued: “We’ve seen the mess you and Biden have created in the past three years, and the only person who can clean it up is Donald Trump, baby.”
Referring to the assassination attempt on Trump last month, Pump concluded: “He took a bullet for democracy, and, when the Lil Pump coin hits 20mil market cap, we will be donating a large amount of it to the Trump campaign. MAGA 20 2024.”
When Trump first ran for office in 2016, Pump tweeted “Fuck Trump” and openly criticised the 45th President (via Hot New Hip Hop). But the rapper has since changed his stance on the controversial figure.
In 2020, the former POTUS called the rapper on stage at a rally in Michigan but called the Floridian “Lil Pimp” instead of his actual stage name. The pair sported MAGA hats at the event.
While on stage, Pump said: “Hello everybody, how are you all feeling? I come here to say, Mr President, I appreciate everything you have done for the country. You brought the troops home and are doing the right thing. MAGA 2020!”
Last November, Trump shouted out Lil Pump at a rally in the rapper’s home state of Florida, making sure to get Pump’s name correct.
This January, Pump showed off a new thigh tattoo of the 2023 mugshot Trump took after being indicted on racketeering and related charges in Atlanta. The former POTUS has since been found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business documents.
New York City rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow recently received backlash for endorsing Trump at a rally in their hometown back in May. They were allegedly removed from the line-up for Hot 97’s Summer Jam festival.
Also, Sexyy Red‘s recent mixtape campaign for ‘In Sexyy We Trust’ sees the rapper make light of Trump’s infamous “Make America Great Again’ hats. Earlier this year, her festival set design featured an inflatable hat that said “Make America Sexyy Again”.
Attendees at the Roots Picnic festival criticised Red and accused her of endorsing Trump – to which she denied, tweeting: “I’m not endorsing anybody, period.”
Rapper Cardi B has remained vocal about her disdain for Trump. Most recently, she called out The Apprentice US star on his promise to give “federal immunity to police officers” at a rally in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
She said he “never changed” and found the comment distasteful – particularly after Sonya Massey was “killed in 4K” by a Springfield deputy police officer.
Other high-profile rappers have instead endorsed Harris like Megan Thee Stallion, who performed at her presidential rally in Atlanta last week. At the same event, Quavo commended the VP for her commitment to tackling gun violence.
Cardi B has also said she wanted Harris to be the Democratic candidate long before Biden was. She said Biden was being “selfish” and it would have been “perfect” to “pass the torch” to Harris.
