Listen to L.S. Dunes’ thrashing new single ‘Fatal Deluxe’
L.S. Dunes have shared a brand new single called ‘Fatal Deluxe’ – listen to the track below.
The supergroup – Thursday drummer Tucker Rule and bassist Tim Payne, Circa Survive vocalist Anthony Green, Coheed And Cambria guitarist Travis Stever and My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero – have said the new track “marks the official opening of chapter two for L.S. Dunes”.
Opening with a raucous guitar rift and clambering drum beats, Iero shared in a press release that it’s “a song that bridges the gap musically between where we were as a band and individually, and catches the listener up to where we are headed”.
‘Fatal Deluxe’ also arrives with a new black and white music video featuring some excitable farm animals.

Iero elaborated in his press statement: “It breaks quite a few conventional rules along the way and wipes clean the preconceptions of what the band is and might be capable of. It is a song I didn’t want to stop listening to after we recorded it, and a song I cannot wait to play for a live audience. Those feelings are quite often the signs of something truly special.”
The group released their debut album ‘Past Lives’ back in 2022, with Iero telling NME last year that recording during a pandemic meant that “every step of the way, it felt like the universe was putting an obstacle in the way; but I love this band so much that nothing was going to stop us”.
Rule also explained that starting the band in the first place was something of a rebirth for the group.
“We come from punk and hardcore [which has always been] against all the rules,” he shared.
“Thursday and My Chemical Romance stopped playing for a long time, so did Circa Survive. For a lot of us in this band, it’s a second chance.”
Iero agreed: “It’s a rebirth, for all of us collectively.”
The group ran into some controversy last year over the use of AI in a music video for their song ‘Old Wounds’.
“L.S. Dunes and its collective members have been longtime supporters and advocates of artists of all kinds,” they shared in response via a statement.
“Love it or hate it, the choice is yours – as it should be,” it concluded. “We know we aren’t going to please everyone all the time.”
In the coming weeks and months, L.S. Dunes will be performing at festivals including Riot Fest, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, When We Were Young and more.
