Maren Morris has addressed her wardrobe malfunction that has gone viral while she was on stage performing at a show.
Earlier this month, the Texan singer performed as a part of Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July picnic concert in Camden, New Jersey. While singing on stage dressed in a black top and long denim skirt with a high leg slit on one side, her skirt kept opening while she walked, revealing her undergarments.
Fan-captured footage of the moment made its way around on social media causing it to go viral. The malfunction occurred during Morris’ performance of her 2018 Zedd collab track ‘The Middle’. The singer notice her skirt accidentally opening up from the slit, as she looked down at the denim and smiled before continuing her show.

Now, Morris took to her official TikTok account to address the moment. In the video, she is seen sitting in a car while Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s ‘WAP’ plays in the background. “Hey guys, did anything weird happen today?!?!” read the text in the video. “Anyways, steam Intermission,” she continued, referring to her new EP, which is set for release on August 2.
The caption of the video read: “I think I’ll frame the skirt,” and has over 2 million views. Fans took a moment to praise her reaction to the moment in the comment section of her video with one writing “The skirt was a slay, this response is a slay, Maren is always a slay.”
Another fan wrote: “Only appropriate response,” to which Morris replied: “Like, I’ve given birth. Nothing embarrasses me anymore.”
In other news, Morris recently revealed came out as bisexual, writing: “Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+,” in the caption of an Instagram post, which featured photos of herself holding a Pride flag during a recent tour stop in Phoenix, Arizona.
