A new trailer for Marvel Rivals has been shared, featuring a new song from Against The Current’s Chrissy Costanza.

Free-to-play team-based shooter Marvel Rivals launches this Friday (December 6). “Assemble an all-star Marvel squad, devise countless strategies by combining powers to form unique Team-Up skills and fight in destructible, ever-changing battlefields across the continually evolving Marvel universe,” reads the description.

At launch, Marvel Rivals will feature 33 different heroes including Black Panther, Captain America, Hulk and Iron Man alongside less well-known characters like Squirrel Girl and Jeff The Land Shark.

A new launch trailer was shared yesterday (December 3) that showcases the rooster of Marvel heroes as well as the game’s combat. The 90-second clip was soundtracked by a new Chrissy Costanza track ‘Rivals ‘Til The End’. Check it out below.

The complete track will be available to stream from Friday, as part of the Marvel Rivals soundtrack. A vinyl edition of ‘Marvel Rivals: Galactic Tunes’ is also available to pre-order here.

It’s been a busy year for Chrissy Costanza, who’s continued to establish herself as video games’ go-to soundtrack queen. After being involved with several iconic League Of Legends anthems, in September Costanza provided vocals for ‘Give It All’ as part of the score for Final Fantasy 14’s newest raid, Arcadion.

“I’ve made so many lifelong relationships through gaming,” she told NME. “That community aspect is really important, especially with MMOs. Growing up without like-minded people around you can be incredibly isolating, but being able to dive into these games and connect with people who are passionate about the same things you are is so powerful.”

Costanza also launched a solo project, with debut EP ‘VII’ also inspired by her love of gaming. “The whole project really came from the fact I just love fantasy worlds. I’m big on immersion, so I really wanted to make a record that was just steeped in fantasy,” she explained.

In other news, Waterparks frontman Awsten Knight has also launched a new solo project, inspired by classic video games. His two ‘Video Game Music’ records are currently only available to hear via CD though.
