To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Madonna’s self-titled debut album, Sonic Editions has released a collection of rare and never-before-seen photos of the pop legend.
The 15-piece photo collection features a mix of live and candid shots of Madonna, which are available in sizes small (14 inches x 11 inches) to XXL (37 inches x 26 inches). Prices range from $89 for mounted photos and $149 for framed photos.
The Material Girl’s photo journey stretches beyond the earlier chapters of her career and into her icon era, including an epic photo snapped during opening night on the U.K. leg of her MDNA Tour in London’s Hyde Park in 2012.
But it all started with Madonna. Released on July 27, 1983, the self-titled, debut studio album spawned classic singles like “Everybody” “Holiday” “Lucky Star” “Borderline” and “Burning Up.” Despite debuting near the bottom of the Billboard 200, the album peaked at No. 8 on the charts and went on to sell 2.8 million copies in the U.S. more than a year after its release. Madonna has since sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
