Morgan Wallen’s ‘Last Night’ Rolls Up 22nd Week Atop Hot Country Songs
Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” romps to its 22nd week atop Billboard’s streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot Country Songs chart (dated July 15).
The song, released on Big Loud/Mercury/Republic Records, drew 74.5 million in all-format airplay audience (up 2%) and 29.8 million streams (up 1%) and sold 8,000 downloads (up 1%) in the June 30-July 6 tracking week, according to Luminate.
John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Kasher Hindlin and Ryan Vojtesak co-wrote the smash.
As “Last Night” leases its 22nd frame in the Hot Country Songs penthouse, it passes Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber’s “10,000 Hours,” which dominated for 21 weeks starting in October 2019. “Last Night” now has the sixth-longest reign since the list became an all-encompassing genre ranking in October 1958.
Longest-leading Hot Country Songs No. 1s (since 1958):
