Fans have been joining Clario on stage to do backflips while on the North American leg of her world tour.

Her two most recent shows have seen the ‘Sexy To Someone’ singer bring up a different fan each night to do a backflip during the middle of her gig. While performing in Mesa, Arizona last Thursday (October 3), Clairo brought up a fan on stage who said he could do a flip. Fan-captured footage sees the singer say “OK, one, two, three, flip!” to which the fan went ahead and backflipped.

On Monday (October 7), at her show in Santa Barbra, California, a fan in the crowd caught Clairo’s attention by holding up a sign that read “You make me wanna do a backflip,” quoting the lyrics of her viral hit ‘Juna’ in which she sings: “You make me wanna…”.

The ‘Bags’ singer brought him on onstage passing him the mic to introduce himself as well as announce that he is “really good at backflips.” The fan then went on to do a backflip with the crowd cheering and applauding him on.

Clairo’s tour is in support of her third studio album ‘Charm‘. In a four-star review of the album, NME shared: While desire might be the main focus of ‘Charm’, it’s also an ode to connection and the comfort that comes with that – whether it’s fleeting or long-lasting, with a romantic partner or just other loved ones in your life.”

“‘Glory Of The Snow’, the gorgeously wintry penultimate track, pays tribute to the support of others. “When I cry, I wanna give you a ring,” she shares. “I can breathe with you right there alone with me.” In the end, that’s what the desire of ‘Charm’ boils down to – the yearning to see and be seen, to be with people who not only want you back but understand you and make life that little bit easier to make it through.”

In other news, the singer recently performed an emotional cover of David Byrne’s 2002 track ‘Everyone’s In Love With You’.

She was also announced as one of the performers for the 2025 edition of Australia’s iconic Laneway Festival. The likes of Charli XCX, Beabadoobe and more are also on the bill.

Earlier this summer, she announced details of a UK and European tour, which will kick off in 2025.
